My Shift’s are:  In this house , nothing that’s charged stays plugged in, we take towels from Costco that we cut up into little squares to use instead of paper towel,  we don’t serve meat,  we use toilet paper that could plane a door,  we buy cereals that come in bags without the gratuitous box around them, we only use the short cycles on the dishwasher and washing machine,  we use all green eco-cool detergents with cold water and we haven’t yet bathed our seven year old.

If you can ask everyone in the world to shift one habit it would be:   BRING YOUR OWN BAGS TO THE STORE  (and let’s make plastic bags illegal…or at least charge 25 cents  a bag like they do in Germany)

Wildest Dream:  I never have to slice my fingers and  break my nails down at the quick, and get so frustrated that I want to chew my own teeth trying to get the plastic casing from one of my kids toys… or any other of the many products that are sold with this  %&$#(&@  wrap of death.  For what reason anyone would encase a RUBBER DUCKY in this kind of evil plastic is entirely beyond me.  I am amazed by the many things that come packaged this way.
